Born Pretty Store review #19371

Last review for the late, late night is bornprettystore.com/show.php?keywords=19371
'Vintage Damask Theme Love Nail Art Stamping Template' (BP-L016)

Black stamping polish (6pc stamping polish set item #18138) over ILNP brand 'Mega (L)' with stamping plate ^^(BP-L016 item #19371). I love how subtle the black is over this pretty silver holo. So smooth and it didn't smear after adding top coat. Which is a plus!

This white cream stamping polish is amazing! Very opaque! Dried nicely and didn't smear either while applying top coat to seal the nail art. ^^Stamping plates used here were items #18138 & #19371^^ I am in love with this white stamping polish and plate. It's like they're a match made for each other.. lol
^^Lavish Polish 'Exquisite' in 3 buttery coats..^^

^^above: I used Jolie Polishes black stamping polish & used stamping plate design:
Orly - Glowstick & Mirrorball
Jolie Polish - Black Stamping polish

Just a close up of the stamping plate that I used on my nails shown above.
These plates are nice and pick up well with any type of stamper head. With the born pretty store 6pc stamping polishes, they work so well with this plate. If you love Audrey Hepburn & Marilyn Monroe, this stamping plate is for you!

(review on previous blog!)

The silver stamping polish is opaque in one coat! I even used it underneath OPI's 'Crown Me Already' on the ring finger nail. So pretty! I then even used it on the index and pinky nails while I also used stamping plate #17926 Various Arabesque Patterm Nail Art Stamp Template.

6pc stamping polish came in a orange/coral/red shade + in green chrome. They worked easy while hand painting/filling in the stamping design on the stamper head.

Here's the finished look done with the 6pc stamping polish set and stamping plates. Opaque and super creamy to work with!

On this mani, I used from the 6pc stamping polish set: green chrome, orange/coral/red, white and gold + black.

*Nail Liner Brush transparent crystal handled nail drawing liner brush tool #18519

This is the original video's still photo of the mani that I used the brush from bornprettystore.com to create the trees. It works great to create tiny strokes on anything, practically! I really enjoy this brush bc it was easy to use to create tiny dots and lines!

Here, I even created more palm trees and written the word PINK in little print. The brush is amazing for tiny works of art! The best and easiest brush I've ever owned! I recommend this nail art brush if you are interested on creating thinner and finer lines in nail art. It's so easy to work with. The only thing I wished would be different is that the top would fit on the brush so it would cap on so you won't lose it. Nonetheless, this brush is cute in pink with crystal beads on the handle.. IN LOVE!!

Terax Hair Care review

Hello Ladies &  Gentlemen!

Just a little over 2 weeks ago, I had the pleasure to review some hair products as well as some Pure Ice polishes from Bella Public Relations, inc. From the moment I received my package in the mail, I could seriously smell the sweetness from the bubble wrapped package. The smell was like pure sweetness from a field of flowers.. It was almost close to Heaven in a bottle! I cannot wait for you to continue reading my personal review of Terax Hair Care Crema conditioner. You're going to want some in the end!

Terax Italia handcrafted hair care Crema in Original moisturizing daily conditioner is for daily use & sulfate free.
(Pure Ice: 'Get In Line', 'Free Fall' * 'Tickle Me Pink')

Why yes, this shot was taken straight in the shower. I know it's personal but what is a blog about this amazing Terax hair care product put into action without the hair product in my hair?? Are you nuts? Yes, I am but I really, really love the scent and the way that the conditioner makes my hair look when it's in my hair. Doesn't my strands of hairs look almost like Barbie hair?! I think so! It's so soft and gentle on my hair and I could totally and automatically feel the product working in to my hair in the shower. Feels just a baby's hair after one wash..

A week ago, I surprisingly received more Terax Hair Care Crema, Hydrate & Shine in the mail.
OH. MY.. This package was overwhelming sweet. & I mean that in a good way! I haven't tried these babies just yet because I am in the middle of testing the Crema out. It's been a good 2 weeks since my first wash and it has done a great amount of lovin' to my hair. It's made my locks so much stronger, shiny and softer. Even better, I am a mother of 3 little boys and they always compliment about the sweet scent of my hair! That's a bonus! Thank you SO much to Bella Public Relations for giving me these to test. My hair was very damaged from all the dye sessions and lack of using cheap drug store conditioners because they make my scalp break out. I think I have finally found my go to hair conditioner! It is so gentle on my sensitive scalp. It hasn't irritated my skin nor scalp. I am really enjoying this product.

Please, be sure to go check out Terax Hair Care products at:
Bella Public Relations Blog - bellaprnyc.com

Last but not least, I have 2 out of the 3 Pure Ice polishes to review..
This sheer, aqua, shimmery blue polish is Pure Ice 'Get In Line'. I paired it with Orly Blast 'Snow Queen' + I used some liquid nail tape to help create the splash and waves. Makeup sponge was used to help create the subtle gradient.

This one is called 'Free Fall' paired with Sinful Colors Professional striping polish 'Flower Girl' & Aurora Lacquers 'Daffodil Sorbet' on the ring fingernail and rose stamping on the middle finger nail as well. 'Free Fall' was used on the animal print (ring finger nail).

I really enjoyed the nail colors and most of all, the Terax Hair Care Crema conditioner. I cannot wait to play with the Hydrate and Shine conditioners next! I just can't help myself but to smell my hair.. Thank goodness for Terax for it has revived my damaged and dried hair! Now, my hair is looking more healthier and smells even sweeter! I have information for you guys to read more on the hair care brand down below if you're interested! Note: It's not written by me.
Have a lovely night! Gnight!

Mai

Award Winning Hand Crafted Rinse Out and Leave-In Conditioners from Terax Hair Care
are a Must Have for Soft, Shiny and Healthy Hair

New York, NY, June 2015 – For nearly 50 years, men and women around the world have enjoyed soft,  shiny and healthy hair thanks to Terax Hair Care’s full line of rinse out and leave in conditioning treatments, including their cult favorite Terax Original Crema Conditioner. A family owned and operated company with an Italian heritage, Terax Hair Care focuses on building healthy hair from the inside out through high quality and innovative hair care formulations.

All of Terax Hair Care’s products are produced in small batch sizes, which allow for superior quality control and offers customers the freshest possible products free of sulfates, parabens and artificial colors.  It’s through this dedication to making sure that each and every product is the very best that Terax Hair Care has earned a loyal following over the years, including A-list celebrities like Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore, Molly Simms, Tamera Mowery and more.

“We are very proud to consistently offer the same high quality, hand crafted hair care products that our customers have come to appreciate and expect throughout the years,” explains Marco Musumeci, President of Terax Hair Care who runs the company with his wife Jackie. “Over the years, our branding and packaging has changed but it’s very important to us that the popular, best-selling hair care formulations that customers have fallen in love with over the years remain the same.”

Products in Terax Hair Care’s award winning line include the popular Terax Original Crema Conditioner, a daily conditioner with a high pH that opens the hair cuticles and delivers special moisturizing and softening ingredients. This product features a unique blend of ingredients that revitalizes all hair types by reducing fizziness, improving elasticity and detangling hair, eliminating split ends while rejuvenating chemically and environmentally damaged hair. The next generation of the Original Crema Conditioner, Terax Original Crema + KeratinTM features SmartKeratinTM technology that leaves targeted deposits of keratin on only the most damaged area of the hair fiber, leaving hair soft, shiny and easy to style, and not weighed down. This technology also allows kertain protein to remain in the hair even after you rinse, unlike most other keratin proteins that just wash down the drain.

Terax Hair Care leave in conditioners have a low pH which work in tandem with Terax’s wash out conditioners to perfectly balance hair and lock the cuticle for color safe. Each leave in conditioner is specifically formulated to help with dry, damaged or frizzy hair and all are gentle enough for everyday use. Life Drops uses silk and wheat proteins to strengthen and protect hair, providing up to 80 percent less breakage than untreated hair. Hydrate is a vegan, pure botanical moisturizer featuring blends of plant extracts like Chamomile, Sage and Sunflower Seed, designed for hair that doesn't have any chemical damage but just needs a little more oomph. The newest addition to the leave in conditioner line is Shine, made with keratin protein to strengthen and protect hair and features a 24-hour slow time-release for long lasting shine.

Terax Hair Care is available on Ulta.com and fine spas, salons and retailers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Learn more about Terax Hair Care at www.TeraxHairCare.com and check out Terax Hair Care on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram at TeraxHairCare.

Sally Hansen big peel off base coat Review

Hi ladies and gentlemen!

It has been ONE & a half months since I've blogged. I've fallen short because I only have 1 follower here. Which makes me very sad but it's ok. I'm here to pick up where I've left off.. Today's blog is my own personal review of Sally Hansen's big peel off base coat. Keep reading and you will see what I feel about this product!

First off, last night while at Target.. I walked past a new stand with the new Sally Hansen collections and saw the big peel off base coat. I was "curious" about it and purchased it at $5.99 just to see if this was any difference from Elmer's glue. I love my Sally Hansen products and come to find out about the big peel off base coat. It is a bottle of glue. I'm not surprised. I'm not too disappointed neither. I rather like how it is in the bottle with a brush. Though waiting time for it to dry completely on my nails took me rather the same amount of time as if I would have to wait for Elmer's glue to dry too. It smells just like Elmer's glue but the only pro about this product is that it is filled in a cute bottle with a brush for easy application.

Would I recommend this product to any of you?

Yes, I would recommend it because it is a life saver when you want to wear just all glitter polish. Which is a pain in the bum to remove. Even after 15 minutes, I was able to push down the nail polish starting from the cuticle area to pull off from my nails. It was amazing! Though it didn't come off in one pull like Yellow Stopper by American Classics does. But this stuff is pretty handy to have on the side if you are a nail art beginner! :)

The price for the big peel base off coat is a bit pricey for me though. I would rather get a bottle of Elmer's glue to fill in an empty polish bottle but I won't lie... This stuff is already packaged in  new bottle, which makes it easier for you to get even applications with a nice new brush versus the old bottles brush.. The old brush would be wonky and won't apply as nicely as Sally Hansen's big peel off base coat. Hence, because I would know! I tried to bottle up my own Elmer's glue with a recipe (which I don't know if I am right with the measurements, lol!) I found from Google.. It didn't work bc I believe you had to fill the empty polish bottle with half glue and 1/4 water but it diluted my glue too much. Which didn't work for me. Sally Hansen's worked better. Another note, girls used Elmer's glue to apply around the cuticle areas to help make clean up an easier task. That technique didn't work for me at all. Same with Sally Hansen big peel base coat, It dried to fast and was kinda hard to find to peel it off.
As you can see ^^ The white consistency is just like Elmer's glue.
Plus, it smells just like glue too! Which I happen to love!

It does work great for a peel off base. It didn't damage my nails when I pulled off the nail polish, which is great!

If you decide to give this product a try, let me know what you think of it too!!

Londontown Lakur swatch & review

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

Tonight's blog is all about Londontown Lakur.
I had the opportunity to swatch and review these beauties. C'mon, these are 5-free (Formaldehyde-free, Toluene-free, DPB-free, Formaldehyde Resin-free, Camphor-free), non-toxic, vegan, gluten-free & cruelty-free. These are literally just nearly perfection! You just wait to see what I thought about these!
From (L-R: Ring Me, Cheerio, Beau Of The City & a purple holo glitter)

'Ring Me' in 2 thin coats with no top coat. ^^ I found this formula so rich and highly pigmented that you could really go for only 1 coat application! I have an OCD problem when it comes to applying nail polish on my nails, so I went ahead with 2 coats. It dries absolutely beautiful really quickly and shiny all by itself with no help from a dry fast top coat. I mean, seriously.. Look at it! It is so squishy!! :D

'Ring Me' 2 coats, no top coat + MoYou London's Mother Nature stamping plate m-11 stamped with OPI 'Love.Angel.Music.Baby.'

This purple glitter is stunning.. It has micro gitters and bigger, purple holo glitters in it which is huge plus for me. I am a purple fan here!

'Beau Of The City' is also one of my faves. It is not like any blue that I own. It is so rich in pigment and smooth.. This is shown with 2 coats and no top coat. I also used here Zoya 'Anais' for the city buildings & China Glaze 'The Outer Edge' for the stars in the nights sky.

I know a lot of people who paint their nails like to apply a fast drying top coat over the color to help seal the nails but for this brand. It is so strikingly amazing that you don't even need to use one! It dries in no time if you apply your first layer thin enough. By second coat, as it dries, it leaves such a high pigment color with a beautiful shine and squishy look which I love! I am sold on this brand by the look of the bottle, lacquer, high pigments, high shine and drying time! It has been featured many times in the leading magazines with  Harper's Bazaar, Us Weekly, Shape, Allure, Marie Claire, Self, Lucky magazine, Cosmopolitan, Nail It!, Seventeen, Health & Essence.

I've worn 'Beau Of The City' on my nails for 2 days because I absolutely couldn't stop staring at the beautiful royal, deep and rich blue.. Usually the 2nd day, the tips of my nails are either chipped or worn out. With Londontown Lakur, it is all so true as to what every magazine had to say about them! This nail polish is bottled up with all the good stuff.. Believe that or not!

"The high pigment bold colors leave you with a long lasting wear. The formula is infused with Londontown's family remedy of only natural botanical extracts that include Rapeseed, Chamomile, Garlic and Vitamin B7 that helps nourish the nails and encourages nails growth." - Londontown Lakur

Mai Fashion Nails

Hi ladies and gentlemen!

Tonight's blog is about this particular picture that I found of some beautiful fashion sketches from Google. When I was on Google trying to search for some inspiration to do on my nails, this picture came up. I've had this photo saved on my cellphone for over a month now, so I can't tell you who I can or should give the proper credit to. Sadly, I can't.. But if you know who this photo belongs to, please let me know in the comment area. Thank you! :)

First and foremost, the sketches above brought back a lot of my teenage memories when I knew what I wanted to major in college. Can you guess what it was? IF you've guessed Fashion Designer, YUP. I am an artist and I can remember when I saw the first premiere of Project Runway, I fell in love and was inspired to do my own sketches of my own designs. I even left to NYC to pursue my dreams but it didn't even happen. Broke my heart bc God had other plans for me. I wish I have my sketches with me today but it's OK.. It was more of a hobby, just sketching, doodling and art for me to escape from my reality then. I am truly grateful for today, for I have 3 sons AND for I still am blessed by God to have my artistic skills to share with you all today on MAI (my) nails! I couldn't be any happier to show it through my nail art!! EEEKS!!! lol

My favorite nail art brushes used on this manicure can be found below by link:

^^BE SURE TO CHECK EACH LINK OUT FOR AVAILABILITY OF THEIR BRUSHES!^^

^ I was SO shocked that I actually fit all 10 gowns on my 4 nails! ARE YOU?! lol, I even have macros for you to check out the messy, artistic details of my hand painted gowns with glitters! ^

I used over 10 nail polishes to create this entire manicure.. I can't even give you any names.. BUT 1 thing, most importantly is that I used the equal amount of China Glaze and OPI polishes.

^ My FAVE nail of the 3 gowns.. OH, and the awesome gorgeous various sized holo hex glitters were picked out are from Emily De Molly's 'Dark Forces' to place them on my nail. How gorgeous are the glitters?! I'm still droolin' over dem babies!! ^

^ OPI 'Love.Angel.Music.Baby' over 'Pompeii Purple' & a China Glaze 'Liquid Leather' for the top is super gorge.. ^

^ The gown reminds me of a gown or a certain color and style that Audrey Hepburn would wear! SO CUTE, whomever sketched the drawings of the gowns is a beautiful artist. I'm in love with their sketches! ^

^ Another up close angle.. ^

^ Another gown, the black one with the stripes look like an Audrey Hepburn style too! ^

I am excited to share this inspiration that I found from Google. It brought back some good memories and I can still even paint them.. ON MY NAILS THO!! lol, The tiniest canvases but I am happy that this person brought me to do this so I can share with you all this tiny story about myself. I hope you all enjoyed my blog tonight. Wish you all a good night and sweet dreams Mai Loves!!
