Born Pretty Store review: #33947 Black Flower Nail Art Water Decals (BPY11)

Is it stamping nail art? Is it water nail decals?
OH MY!!

Unlike any tattoo.. This product is just like one! This is called a water nail art decal.
It is super easy to work with. All you need is a scissor, a cup of water and a colored nail bed & this water nail decal.

.
.
Step-By-Step:
1) Prep the nail & apply your favorite base coat.
2) Apply a polish of your choice as your base.
3) Pick out a nail art decal design & cut it fit your nail shape.
4) Dip it into a cup of water for 10+ seconds.
5) It should easily slip off the back of the white paper like a piece of film.
6) Place it over your nail.
7) Clean around your nail & edges with a clean up brush with some acetone.
8) Apply a top coat to seal your water nail decal.
9) Freehand a black French nail tip by swooping it from whichever side of the edge of your nail to the middle.
10) Bring the other side with your nail polish brush to connect & finish the French nail tip.
**Last but not least, add another coat of Top Coat to seal your manicure for a long lasting mani! 💪😁💟

I created a black French manicure to pair with this black floral water decal. These are versatile to work with over any type of base color. I like how this mauve-nude base is sexy with this black floral decal.

To achieve the best manicure with these pretty floral decals. Be sure to softly sweep the top coat over the decals. If you do it with pressure, it will definitely pick up the decals with your top coat brush.
As you could tell, the first photo up top shows the ring fingernail has been swept with the top coat. So, then I had thought to create the Black French Manicure. I find it just as nice with or with the black tips.

These are so much fun to work with! These would look superb over a pastel gradient or a glittery base too. It's very versatile.

Born Pretty Store review: #34555 Nail Art DIY Stamping Mat

Born Pretty Store review: #34555 Nail Art DIY Stamping Mat

Hi guys!
I must admit that this little guy in this adorable tube is so Perfect!
It's what I have been looking for!!
This item is made of silicone. It is foldable, washable and thus far.. I am amazed and in love with this product! Keep reading to hear more of my thoughts on this baby!

LOVE how this tube keeps the silicone mat safe from dust or just from getting destroyed!
it's small, compact and very sturdy too.

The full look and layout the silicone mat.
It is so soft and when it rolls out on the flat surface, it completely stays flat on the table or surface easily for you to do stamping nail art or even free hand nail art.

In October, I chose to create a Halloween Mickey Mouse manicure on the mat.
It's so exciting to finally not have to create such intricate or intermediate free hand nail art over wax, parchement OR a ziploc baggie!! This baby works amazing! It is flexible to pick up and easily remove the nail art. I'm amazed at this thing.. Probably the best thing for a nail artist to have. It's a Must-Have.

Check out Mickey Mouse nail art that I created on the silicone mat right one mah nailz!
Amazing, right?! LOL

^^ Believe it or not, I tried to create Aurora "Sleeping Beauty" (right) but whatever.. LOL!
It's obvious that I kept the Evil Queen.. HAHAHA!

The Evil Queen was not the easiest to create but with the help from my thin nail art brushes and the lovely silicone mat. Took me 45 minutes to create it but this was probably one of the best pieces compared to Mickey Mouse up there, Of course!

Again, this silicone mat is a Must-Have.
Go get yourself one NOW.

Born Pretty Store review Shining Mermaid Glitter Pigment 💜(PURPLE)

OMGOSH, was I satisfied with this Purple Mermaid Pigment Glitters!
Seriously, check it out at bornprettystore.com under item number #31700.

I chose to use the purple pigment glitters over a deep wine purple by Gelish in Warriors Don't Wine
and a Lavendar one step gel color. It's so pretty over these two colors, don't you think?!

This beautiful Purple bag of shining mirror mermaid nail glitter comes in a thin 10 ounce bag.
A little definitely goes a long way! It's so pretty yet not the finest glitters that you see and know. But most definitely the prettiest after a complete manicure!

This purple shining mirror mermaid nail glitter chrome pigment glitters #31700
shifts in purple, green and blue. SO PRETTY!!

This macro shows a subtle opal glare and shift over the lavendar.

To the eyes, Over this wine color.. It shifts in yellow and green!

As you turn your hands and nails, the shift is endlessly beautiful!

This glitter can be used over any other color nail polish. You can use this product over regular nail polish or gel polish. On this manicure, I used it over gel polishes. Lavender is a one step gel polish and the wine gel has a sticky residue after getting cured under the LED Light.

So gorgeous! I cannot wait to pair this Purple pigment glitters over a black or a hot pink!!

Before I forget, go check out bornprettystore.com and buy this item number: #31700. This product has about 4-5 colors to choose from.

Born Pretty Store review #30898 Shining Mirror (gold & silver) Chrome Pigment

Born Pretty Store review  #30898 Shining Mirror (gold & silver) Chrome Pigment

I've had this opportunity to try out this gold and silver chrome pigments sent from bornprettystore.com

Hear my thoughts on these two pretty chromes!!

I painted my nails with regular polishes:
OPI Got The Blues For Red
ZOYA Hunter
and topped it with Miracle Gel Top Coat from Sally Hansen & gently rubbed over my nails with the gold chrome pigment. It gave the maroon and green nail polish a subtle shift of gold. I find it so soft and so pretty because it is not shiny to the eyes as the silver chrome gives you. I really like this gold pigment because it was not hard to use at all. I found very little amount goes a long way. All you need to do is gently rub it with your finger tips gently to get a soft and subtle gold chrome look.

^^stamping plate: BP-L011 #19366 shown over the gold chrome pigments.
1. Gold Chrome Pigment over the maroon and green to show its natural state.
2. Shiny top coat was added to give and show the shine for the gold pigment. Its so pretty!
3. Matte top coat over the gold pigment and it still shows the subtle gold pigment!

I love how versatile and easy it can look and still the gold chrome pigment still shines through! It's pure beauty and so amazingly easy to work with. With or without a eye makeup tool. Your fingertips even make it look effortless!!!

I decided to not show the typical and common silver chrome look that's already been done. I wanted to show how it can look great on a grungy type of look. I think I achieved this look. I was satisfied with it and c'mon!! The easiest to work with.

Macro's for the eyes to take in... It's so pretty up close!

I've had the time to research on how to achieve the best look for these chromes.
I found that the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat or the Gel colors from the collection works best with the chromes. I also found just using regular old gel can work just as fine as regular nail polish. It's just the one step gel that didn't really work out for me as to what I've read that had worked for others. I topped with all the manicures with the Seal Coat Gel that came with the products.

Born Pretty Store review: Palm Leaves water nail art decals #33971

Hello! Thank goodness tonight is Thursday.
The weather here in the Upper Midwest is still beautiful in the sixties and the awesomeness seventies! This manicure is perfect for this type of weather in November since it is still pretty springy like here.

Palm Leaves water nail art decals #33971
Don't forget to use my 10% code: (RAEQ10) off at the end of your purchase checkout!

^^ These water nail decals come clear with a white paperback that you pull off from. So, you will definitely need to paint your nail beds with a nail polish or simply create a gradient like I did. Even a glittery base would look fab with these palm trees and leaves.. Don't you agree too?^^

^^From top left to the right & bottom left to right (step 1-4):
You'll first need to cut the water decal rounded top to fit your nail shape.
Secondly, dip 'em into a cup of H2O.
Thirdly, Take off the decal by softly sliding it off the white paperback.
Last but not least, place it on your nail bed; clean up the access decal with your cleanup brush with some pure acetone. I use pure acetone bc it's a stronger clean up solution and works way much quicker than plain old acetone. Obviously, don't forget to apply a coat of top coat.

Macros of the palm leaves and chevrons in MATTE and the chevron one is left shiny bc shiny is pretty too!

^^
The first two of the jungly red and viney decals are shown in shiny top coat and matte. I find it both pretty with different top coats. Either or show a pop of color and the other is left with a smooth matte finish which shows it in a softer finished look. Which one is your favorite?!^^

I found the top coats sort of ruin the water decals, which makes me utterly sad.. lol, My heart would flutter bc I'm a gal that does not like oopsies on a mani. But these decals are so fun and easy to work with nonetheless! I suggest that you'd apply a generous amount of top coat to protect the decal and gently apply it. I, however applied it quite soft but not gentle enough.. So, this explains why the decals easily melted away with the top coat.
